The footer of the WashU Web Theme sits at the bottom of the site and does not change as the user moves through different pages. The footer displays important links and information that have become customary on most sites. This includes contact information, social media links, copyright information, and navigational links to pages that might not fit in the main menu.
In the WashU Web Theme, custom widgets can be created and added to the footer. This allows for the creation of optional menus and other information the user may be interested in.
